Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, Gotham City is/has become/finds itself a shining example of progress. However, a new threat, Bane, arises to dismantle everything Batman has fought against. Bane's devious plans/schemes/tactics force Batman to return/back into action/out of retirement and confront his past/greatest fears/darkest hour
